Olive oil liquid gold and Stock futures hold steady

A shortage in global olive oil (liquid gold) demand has driven prices to record highs. This economic dilemma has been caused by global warming, with extreme high temperatures and drought in Southern Europe—a supplier of over 67% of the global olive oil market. Spain’s average production has virtually halved from 1.3 to 1.5 tons of olive oil to 666,000 tons. Could this commodity become the new liquid gold?

Stock futures held steady as the FED announced that increasing interest rates were no longer on the cards but held interest rates the same. This expected decision saw the S&P500 climb 0.66% and the Nasdaq 0.77%. This shows the robustness of these indices and their steady historical growth over time.
